Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Resource Planning

Chris Wilkins was appointed as Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in January, 2020.  Chris came to Maryland with 20+ years of technology experience in higher education.  Chris previously served as the Director of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at American University.  Prior to his work at American University, Chris was Deputy Chief Information Officer at Montgomery College and before that he was Associate Chief Information Officer and ERP Project Manager at the University of Georgia.  While at the University of Georgia, Chris lead the Administrative Information Systems department and the OneSource ERP Project team.  In this capacity Chris acted as Project Director for the OneSource Project – the University’s business transformation initiative that aimed to deliver next-generation post-award sponsored projects, finance, human resources, and payroll systems.  At Georgia, Chris led multiple vendor contract negotiations while overseeing all budget and fiscal activities for the OneSource Project, including budget forecasting and purchases.  Chris has a BS in Computer Information Systems from Chapman University and a Master of Public Administration in Budgeting and Finance from the University of Georgia.
