Cynthia Hale

Cynthia R. Hale is the Associate Vice President for Finance and Personnel. She reports directly to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, advising the Provost on all issues related to the $645 million Academic Affairs operating budget. She also provides leadership in collaborative efforts to find solutions for funding and operational challenges. Under the direction of Ms. Hale, finance and personnel staff provide information about policies, procedures, and resources related to the financial and personnel functions of the Division of Academic Affairs at the University of Maryland.
