Kimberly C. Watson

As the University of Maryland’s Chief Procurement Officer, Kim Watson has responsibility for Procurement, Travel and Card Services, Logistical Services, and related functions. She has served as a champion for a variety of strategic initiatives which include the use of data analytics to drive innovation, business inclusion, and sustainable supply chain practices. Kim holds a degree from the University of Michigan and has over 25 years of experience in supply chain management at three Big Ten universities. She has been a regional and national presenter on topics such as Greening the Supply Chain, reverse auctions, and innovation in the supply chain.
