Colleagues,
Over the past five months, the Elevate team has been working diligently to complete required testing on payroll integrations to prepare for the implementation of Workday.
Today, based on what has been achieved with payroll integrations and other work of the Elevate team, we are announcing that the Workday Human Capital Management and Finance Go Live will occur in November 2024.
As we work toward the November Go Live date following a delay last fall, the Elevate team has made improvements and enhancements to our training courses and other resources to enhance the user experience for our communities at the University of Maryland, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, and the University System of Maryland Office.
Elevate will provide additional details on training, system freeze dates, and last day activities in the coming weeks.
The implementation of Workday is the largest software deployment program in the history of the University of Maryland. We greatly appreciate the patience and dedication of the many staff and faculty who are making this transition possible.
