Workday Student Program Update

New Resources Available: Learning Hub and Future Ready

This month, two new Workday Student resources are now available on our website to help the campus community learn about upcoming changes and future functionality.

Start by exploring our newest Learning Hub article for an overview of Academic Requirements, which introduces how degree requirements are structured and tracked in Workday Student. In Workday Student, Academic Requirements are the criteria students must complete to earn their degree, including General Education and major-specific requirements. Learn how Academic Requirements are displayed on the Academic Progress Report (APR) and how students and advisors will be able to monitor progress toward degree completion.

Next, check out our Future Ready site to read about Academic Requirement Overrides, a future-state process that will replace degree audit exceptions currently managed in uAchieve. The article outlines how overrides such as course substitutions, waivers, and catalog year changes will be managed through Workday workflows and reflected directly on the Academic Progress Report.

Looking to learn more? The Learning Hub is available to help build your understanding of Workday Student concepts, while the Future Ready site explores how processes will evolve as we approach Go Live. Stay tuned as we continue to update these resources and share additional information in the months ahead.
