Workday Fundamental Concepts

Workday Student Fundamental Concepts introduce the key ideas that form the foundation of the system. Currently, the focus is on Business Processes, which outline how tasks move through Workday; User Roles, which define the different types of users and their experiences; Effective Dating, which allows changes to take effect on specific future or past dates; and Reporting, which provides access to real-time data and insights within the system. Together, these topics lay the groundwork for understanding how Workday Student supports students, faculty, and other users across the university.
