Key Benefits of Purchase Requisitions in Workday

  • Workday is the single point of entry for all requisition activity.
  • Requisitioning will move through the process with electronic approvals and forms.
  • Workday allows for visibility into the status of your requisitions using reporting tools.
  • Workday makes navigating your procurement needs easier with inclusion help text, validations, and guided tours.

How will you request goods/services?

There are two ways to request goods/services in Workday:

  • Shell Shop: Workday will interface with Shell Shop, UMCP’s current state electronic shopping platform. You will add goods to your shopping cart and create the rest of requisition.
  • Non-Catalog Order: You can create a non-catalog order for goods/services that are not available from Shell Shop.
